As many as 15 eminent artists are sharing a common platform and creating art to “Celebrate Creativity”. An exchange of ideas,techniques,sensibilities and interactions with art lovers and appreciators,the art workshop is an endeavour of city-based artist Neenu Vij,who has set up Kadamb Art,an organisation to promote art in the city. “The idea was to introduce new artists to the city. It also gives us a chance to understand the changes taking place in the world of art,” says Vij. As the blank canvases turn into beautiful works of art,the experience of watching the artists create art is eye-catching. The two-day workshop at Rotary House in Sector 18 has artists like Bheem Malhotra from Chandigarh,Dipto Narayan Chatterjee from Ghaziabad,Mona Ghosh from Kolkata,Kamal Sohal from Patiala,Jammu’s K K Gandhi put forth their concepts on canvas. “The works when completed,will be showcased as part of an exhibition here next month,” says Vij.
