Party’s convener for Chandigarh Shakeel Ahmad said that new president would be announced soon but views of the current city president B B Bahl and Pawan Bansal would matter as they both are senior leaders of the party and have lot of experience.

Meanwhile, party observers said that the recent victory of the party in Mayoral elections have revived Bansal’s influence.
