Kidney racket: Victim met accused after seeing blood donation ad

Kapil, whose kidney was transplanted into another person by preparing fake documents met the accused after seeing a message on social media for blood donation.

He was then lured by the accused to give his kidney by promising a hefty amount.

Kapil told the police that he saw a post on Facebook for blood donation, following which he contacted the concerned person who asked him to come to Derabassi.

“It all happened in January when I contacted the person for blood donation. I was financially broken and fell in the trap,” Kapil said.

He added that he visited Derabassi in January where he first stayed in a hotel.
