Khattar announces Divyang pension service, ‘Tau Se Pucho’ WhatsApp bot

District officer of the SEWA department will contact all such beneficiaries and take their consent getting the pension benefits. If all such beneficiaries give their consent, pension benefits will start from next month.”

Giving details about the WhatsApp bot launched, the CM said, “In today’s time answering various queries raised by citizens personally becomes a herculean task. Therefore, making a digital shift, the Haryana Parivar Pehchan Authority has created a WhatsApp bot called ‘Tau Se Pucho’ along with web-based chatbot solution.

‘Tau Se Pucho’ bilingual chatbot is integrated with WhatsApp and is designed to give quick responses to the queries raised by the citizens. This IT platform will be easily accessible to everyone and the user will be able to communicate easily on this platform while sitting at their home only and without any extra effort or cost. Along with citizens, this platform will also save the government’s time.

Analytical study of the queries received will certainly prove to be helpful in the process of resolving complaints and resolution. Technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing have been added to this integrated digital platform. On this chatbot, citizens can raise queries regarding status of various data fields as well as services like income, marriage registration, public distribution system, ration card, caste, pension and grievances.

Families can interact with the integrated ‘Tau se Pucho’ WhatsApp bot to seek advice on the application process, documents required, eligibility, government regulations and benefits of various programmes.”

“On this app, the beneficiaries will also be able to check the progress of their applications for various services, including income certificate, marriage certificate, public distribution system, ration card, caste certificate, pension, and complaints and grievances,” Khattar added.

Portal for room booking at PWD rest houses

“Now all rest houses can be booked online by government officials as well as private people. The interested ones can get their room bookings done at http://hryguesthouse.gov.in. Through this portal, applicants can now check room availability, book a room, make online payment of booking amount, cancel booking and print booking slip. To avail this service, the applicant will have to pay the full amount online at the time of booking only. Portal has been linked with IDBI Bank’s payment gateway services. Cancellation of booking within 24 hours of check-in will result in a deduction of 20 per cent of the booking amount. No refund will be given for cancellation of booking less than 24 hours after check-in. Booking can be done 15 days in advance,” Khattar said.

Sharing details about terms and conditions for booking of rooms by private persons, Khattar said, “Any private person can book 25 per cent of the vacant rooms 15 days in advance. Besides this, 50 per cent of the vacant rooms can be booked seven days in advance. However, 75 per cent of vacant rooms can be booked three days in advance. Rooms for private persons will not be booked before three days from the date of booking.”

60,000 new recruitments in next six months

At the press conference, Khattar announced that the government shall make 60,000 new recruitments of employees in the coming six months.

“Only 81,000 jobs were given during the Congress rule from 2005 to 2014, while the present state government has given 1.02 lakh government jobs in about eight-and-a-half-years from 2014 to 2023 and new recruitment will be done for 60,000 posts in next six months,” the CM said.

“There was a lack of transparency in the recruitments that took place during Congress government, due to which the court cancelled recruitments on posts related to about a dozen different departments, including recruitment of 1,983 PTI in the year 2006, 786 Canal Patwari in 2007, 437 LDC, 102 Agriculture Inspector in 2013, JE (Civil) 381 vacancies and other vacancies,” Khattar added.

Responding to another question regarding Opposition MLAs repeatedly asking about opening of portals, the CM said, “Our MLAs have opened the portals of Gram Darshan and Nagar Darshan several times and through them have also sent demands for the development works of their areas.
