The UT administration on Monday filed a reply on the application filed by IAS Kashish Mittal wherein he had challenged his transfer orders in the Central Administrative Tribunal. The reply was filed late in the evening and was not placed on record in the court file.
In the application, he stated that the transfer has been done against rules. It was mentioned in the application that the administration and Ministry of Home Affairs had made the transfer against rules.
He mentioned before the tribunal that as per the IAS appointment rules of 2014 issued by the department of personnel and training, the government cannot transfer IAS officers before completion of their term.
Also, before transferring an officer the board has to discuss it with the IAS officer being transferred as per Supreme Court guidelines.
