In light of the ongoing tensions, Jain also issued a series of safety advisories to the public. It’s crucial to stay indoors as much as possible to stay safe.”

Jain also advised people to stay away from areas with glass windows. “Avoid glass windows and anything that could potentially cause harm. It’s important to stay away from social gatherings and crowded spaces,” she said.

She also urged owners of venues like wedding halls, event spaces, and other such places to reconsider large gatherings. “If possible, owners should speak to their clients and encourage them to keep events small or, ideally, postpone them. It’s always better to err on the side of caution.”

Authorities in Hoshiarpur are also expected to share the contact details and addresses of the SDM offices so that residents can easily access information and sign up for the training.
