Inaugurating the first computerised water works in Haryana constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore,Hooda said it was the second computerised water plant after the Sonia Vihar water treatment plant in Delhi.

Earlier, during a welcome function at Bahadurgarh,he said the foundation stone of the fourth power plant of 1,320 MW will be laid on January 10 in Jharli.
Criticising his predecessors, including INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala and Haryana Janhit Congress leader Bhajan Lal,for their failure in taking any concrete steps in making the state self-reliant in power production, the Haryana CM said during the short span of four years, the Congress government had succeeded in installing three power plants. He said without power, the all-round development of the state will not be possible.
He said Haryana was moving forward in all fields and will soon leave behind all states of the country as far as development was concerned.
