Nicole Kidman,one of the highest paid actresses of our time,is in Udaipur,Rajasthan,to shoot for her next film. Kidman is best known for her Oscars in The Hours and Moulin Rouge,besides her first marriage to Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman in Shekhar Kapur’s film

Nicole Kidman,one of the highest paid actresses of our time,is in Udaipur,Rajasthan,to shoot for her next film. Kidman is best known for her Oscars in The Hours and Moulin Rouge,besides her first marriage to Tom Cruise.

She landed in Delhi on March 23 and took a flight to the Lake City to shoot her next film,The Eighth Wonder. Internationally renowned director Shekhar Kapur will be directing the film and it is being produced by Kidman herself. The Australian actress is likely to stay at the lavish and picturesque Lake Palace Hotel,situated in the middle of Lake Pichola. Kapur has already arrived in Udaipur and is busy looking for shooting locations in and around the city. Kapur is staying at Lake Palace Hotel too and the major sequences of the film would be shot at City Palace,Udaipur,and the Lake Palace hotel itself,besides nearby villages.

The Eight Wonder is based on an archaeological discovery that sets off a thrilling race around the world and Kidman plays the role of a female Indiana Jones. Around 100 junior artistes from abroad will be coming to Udaipur. Some local artistes will also participate in the movie.
