BJP members protest against water shortage in Dhanas
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Tuesday held a protest against the shortage of water supply at Dhanas. The protestors alleged that for the last several days some areas of Dhanas – Chaman,Aman and Ambedkar Colony ¿ have been facing trouble due to water supply shortage. Water is supplied for only half an hour in the whole day and the pressure is so low that it hardly reaches the top floors of the area and nothing has been done to address the situation, they alleged.
They claimed that local residents have approached Mayor Subhash Chawla many times,as he is the area councillor for clean and adequate supply of water, but no action has been taken yet.
