A day after a purported audio clip of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar directly accused Lawrence Bishnoi of orchestrating the murder of Inderpreet Singh alias Parry, another voice note, allegedly from Hari Boxer, a close aide of the Bishnoi gang surfaced on social media on Wednesday, escalating the gang rivalry narrative.

Parry, 35, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Monday evening in Chandigarh.

In the latest audio, Hari Boxer launched an attack on Brar, calling him a “coward” and accusing him of betrayal. The speaker claims that Brar once worked under Bishnoi, even alleging that he “cleaned Lawrence’s slippers” and “drove a truck” before being elevated by the gang leader. He accused Brar of turning against the very gang that “made him what he is”.

In the audio, the speaker alleges that Brar fled after Bishnoi avenged the death of Brar’s brother, and further claims that Brar is now aligning with the very people responsible for that killing.

Boxer claims that Jora Sidhu, alias Sippa, another close aide of the Bishnoi gang, had helped Brar’s brother in the past and even rushed him to the hospital.

“Lawrence bhai had even avenged your brother’s murder for you. After that, you ran away. And it was Sippa bhai who took your brother to the hospital, you know that very well — the same thing you are now lying about in the media. Your brother Gurlal used to spend the whole day at Sippa’s house, eating meals cooked by his mother. And even you had eaten food at Lawrence bhai’s home, and later you spat in the same plate,” the clip said.

The audio attributed to Brar claimed that Sippa had been eliminated by his faction for being a police informer and for allegedly siphoning off extortion money without sharing it with gang members. Brar asserted that Parry had no role in Sippa’s death, pointing out that he was at his own wedding ceremony at the time.

The voice note further challenges Brar to confront him directly instead of issuing statements online, saying the Bishnoi gang “does not believe in phone bravado” and fights only “on the ground.” He warns that those siding with Brar should fulfill their “last wish”, hinting at imminent retaliation.

Calling Brar’s recent claims in the media “nonsense,” the speaker in audio vows that the gang will soon show him “the price of betrayal.”

The voice note ends with a threat: that Brar will be traced “no matter where he hides,” and that he will first be made to “clean slippers” before being killed.

Meanwhile, the police are examining the authenticity of the audio.

A police official said that the audio clippings both purported to be of Brar and of Boxer, will be examined, and its possible link to Parry’s killing.

On Tuesday, in the clip attributed to Brar, the gangster said that Bishnoi killed his “friend” Parry and said that he should “start counting his days”, adding that his fate would be the same as Parry.

Police yet to make any arrest

Even as the Chandigarh Police has deployed multiple units — including the Operation Cell, Crime Branch and District Crime Cell — no arrests have been made so far in the case.

A senior police official said that teams are currently conducting raids across Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, and are working in coordination with neighbouring state police forces to trace the assailants.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Parry was cremated by his family. His postmortem examination, conducted at PGIMER on Tuesday, confirmed that he sustained seven bullet injuries fired by the attackers, police said.

The police are also scrutinising Parry’s mobile phone to analyse his call records and identify those who may have contacted him before the incident. The Chandigarh Cyber Crime Cell has already examined the device as part of the investigation.
