Acting on a complaint pertaining to use of commercial cylinders Government Multi Specialty Hospital,Sector 16 (GMSH-16),canteen, the Department of Food and Supplies carried out a raid,but no violation was found.
The officials of the department had come for the raid,but the canteen owner produced the required certificates allowing them to use domestic cylinders and hence no action was taken against him.
The department had received a complaint that the canteen owner was using a domestic cylinder for commercial purposes.
The canteen owner had a cylinder which was of the make of Indian Oil. The canteen is being run by the Red Cross,and Indian Oil has a policy to give cylinders to such organisation at subsidised rates, said Dr Rajiv Vadera,medical superintendent,GMSH-16.
