Former PU V-C appointed as performance auditor

Former Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University and Professor Emeritus Dr K N Pathak has been appointed mentor and performance auditor of five institutions located in Punjab,UP,West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.

Former Vice-Chancellor of Panjab University and Professor Emeritus Dr K N Pathak has been appointed mentor and performance auditor of five institutions located in Punjab,UP,West Bengal and Himachal Pradesh. A communication to this effect was sent by National Project Implementation Unit (NPIU).

Mentors provide guidance to institutions on reforms,implementation plans and remedial actions to improve their performance. The mentors also act as performance auditors at different institutions and assess the progress made by individual institutions in project implementation.

The institutions under Dr. Pathak include SBS College of Engineering and Technology,Bathinda; School of Engineering and Technology,IFTM University,Moradabad (UP); Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management,Kolkata (West Bengal) and NIT,Hamirpur.

A scientist with 36 years of teaching experience,Dr Pathak has 130 research publications in international journals. He was Vice Chancellor of Panjab University from July 23,2000 to July 22,2006.
