Dispute over money leaves three injured in Pinjore

Three persons sustained injuries after they were attacked by 11 persons at village Damdama,near CRPF Camp Gate No 2,in Pinjore on Saturday night.

Three persons sustained injuries after they were attacked by 11 persons at village Damdama,near CRPF Camp Gate No 2,in Pinjore on Saturday night. The injured are Jagpal alias Jaggi and his nephews Kishan and Pawan.

While Kishan and Pawan have been admitted to General Hospital,Sector 6,Jagpal was discharged after being administered first aid.

In his police complaint,Jagpal alleged he received a call from one of the accused yesterday,who demanded money from him.

Soon after,11 persons,including one Vinod Kaushal,Virender Kaushal,Rohit and Sukhta,Bobby and Laddy,reached the site and reportedly beat Jagpal and his nephews with baseball bats and hockey sticks.

The accused also damaged their Innova car,before fleeing the spot.

Jagpal,who is getting a house constructed in the village,claimed he paid Rs 32,000 to the labourers and was left with Rs 8,000,which the accused took away along with a gold chain.

The Pinjore police have registered a case against the accused and a police team headed by acting Station House Officer Kuldeep Kumar has been set on the trail of the accused. Raids were conducted at various places in Pinjore and Chandigarh,but no arrests had been made till the time of filing of the report.
