Deepinder Singh Hooda,sitting MP and Congress nominee from Rohtak parliamentary constituency,today lauded the role of the Punjabi community in educational and economic uplift of society as well as for giving momentum to industrialisation in the country in general and the northern region in particular.
Addressing a Punjabi Sammelan at Bahadurgarh in Jhajjar district today,Hooda said that during his tenure as Rohtak MP,he got a number of mega projects sanctioned from the Centre for the Bahadurgarh region and work on some of these projects,including the second wing of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Badhasa village,Kundli -Maneshar-Palwal Expressway and six-laning of the NH-10 from Bahadurgarh to Hisar had already begun.
“After completion of the sanctioned projects,Bahadurgarh will be no less than a metro in the near future,” he claimed. The people of Bahadurgarh Assembly constituency were happy for including their area in the Rohtak parliamentary constituency. He alleged that every effort had been made in the past by the opposition parties to end Rohtak parliamentary constituency. He assured that he would make every effort for the development of the region at a faster pace.
Bahadurgarh MLA Rajinder Singh Joon said the people of his constituency would ensure victory of the Congress candidate with a record margin. District Congress president Charanji Lal was also present along with leaders and workers of the district Congress.
