Dadumajra locals protest against water scarcity

The Bharatiya Janata Party held a protest rally against water scarcity in Dadumajra on Sunday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest rally against water scarcity in Dadumajra on Sunday. BJP workers along with residents of the area moved around the area with buckets and raised slogans against the Congress.

The protestors then gathered outside the office of area councillor Kamlesh and burnt the effigy of Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources and local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal.

The residents of the area have been complaining about the scarcity of water throughout summer. They have rued that the problem was more acute in Dadumajra and no action was being taken. Sunday’s protest was led by Surinder Singh,the district president of the BJP.
