AIESECers make cultural learning fun

It’s not often that we come across students excited to take lessons in culture. But at AIESEC’s Global Entrepreneur Programme held at Tagore Theatre this Sunday,it was “fun while learning.” Organised with an aim to teach students about working in diverse environments and challenge their potential,the programme is designed in an interactive manner,” says Yuliya,Vice-President,Talent Management from Ukraine,as she makes us meet the participating teams.

“With each team allotted a specific country,with specific culture and customs,they had to act like them and give suggestions to solve different world issues,” chips in Akkriti Bhatt of AIESEC,giving the instance of the team from Turkey which was instructed to behave open and free-minded and that of Sweden,which was to portray a closed and conservative front. A fun activity,about 300 students from different colleges of the city got to interact with each other and were also briefed about the importance of getting international exposure and gaining multi-cultural,social and entrepreneurial experience. “The aim is to give a perspective on leadership and give a dimension to think of,” says Sahil Dewan,Vice-President,Corporate Sector,AIESEC.
