Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today ordered an inquiry into alleged encroachments over land belonging to a popular temple of Narsingh at Nahan.
The orders were passed on a complaint received from the area. Dhumal directed the district authorities to ascertain the ownership of the land and honour the religious sentiments of the devotees.
In another case,the chief minister directed the HIMUDA to settle the claim of a Jaipur-based person A S Negi,who had purchased a flat in Shimla on free-hold basis in the year 1995 by paying full and final payment for the same but continue to face problems .
Chief Minister directed Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur to ensure that information sought under the RTI should be given to the application . The case relates to one Khushi Attri ,who had sought information under the provisions of the Act from Project Director,Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan,district Sirmour.
