Class X maths exam easy for some, tough for others

Majority of the students said the paper was easy enough as far as scoring opportunities were concerned.

The class X mathematics paper evoked mixed reactions from the students who appeared for the board examination on Monday. While some found the paper easy, others found it to be a challenge.

Majority of the students said the paper was easy enough as far as scoring opportunities were concerned. Students outside KBDAV School in Sector 7 said the question paper was unexpectedly formatted in a easier way.

Misba, a student of Government Model School in Sector 21, said, “The 3-mark short questions were a little confusing. The questions and then in an ascending order, the questions became difficult.”

“I feel relaxed now that the most problematic exam is over,” said another student.
The teachers, meanwhile, said the exam was such that an average student could score 50 marks atleast. CBSE regional officer, R J Khanderao said, “As per experts, it was a balanced and standardised paper.”
