CJM’s wife murder: CBI question family

CBI sleuths have questioned family members of the wife of Gurgaon Chief Judical Magistrate (CJM),Ravneet Garg,who was found murdered last month.

CBI sleuths have questioned family members of the wife of Gurgaon Chief Judical Magistrate (CJM),Ravneet Garg,who was found murdered last month. According to sources,a CBI team visited the family of the deceased,Geetanjali Garg,at Sector 8 in the city. They were reportedly told that,‘the CJM had a direct hand in the murder and harassed Geetanjali for dowry.”

The family members told the CBI team that over Rs 50 lakh was given to Garg besides money spent on jewellery,furniture,cash and other house-hold articles.

Also,a Skoda Laura car was given to the CJM during his marriage with Gitanjali Garg.

After persistent demands for dowry,Aggarwal’s family gave another car to the CJM.

But,the harassment only intensified after Geetanjali gave birth to two daughters. The CBI team was further informed the CJM and his parents asked Aggarwal to purchase a plot for them.
