Afternoon Shatabdi stalled for over an hour at Panipat

The afternoon Shatabdi between Chandigarh and Delhi was delayed by around one and a half hour after it was stalled at Panipat. The train departed from Chandigarh Railway Station at 12 noon. However,due to fault in the overhead wiring,the train came to a halt at Panipat. While the train generally crosses Panipat by 2 pm,it could leave at 3.30 pm on Friday after the fault was repaired. The train between Chandigarh and Lucknow was also delayed by several hours. The train that had to depart from Chandigarh will be departing on Saturday instead of Friday now.
