(File Photo) The Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) has been awarded the prestigious “Best Hotel in Budget” recognition at the 10th edition of the B2B International Tourism Expo, Conclave and Travel Awards (ITCTA 2025), during an event held on July 26 in New Delhi.
The award acknowledges CITCO’s efforts in delivering quality hospitality services at affordable rates, coupled with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Harmilan Singh, deputy general manager (hotels), received the award on behalf of CITCO during a ceremony that saw the participation of leading tourism professionals, government officials, and international delegates.
As per an official, over the past year, CITCO has undertaken several key initiatives to upgrade its services. These include modern renovations across its hotel infrastructure, collaborations with major online travel platforms like MakeMyTrip to boost digital visibility, and the introduction of new offers and promotional menus in its restaurants — targeted at both tourists and local diners.
