Cheshire Home gives tricycles,crutches to physically challenged

A team of ten doctors examined over 100 physically challenged persons and gave free medicine.

Cheshire Homes Chandigarh observed the international day for persons with disabilities and presented 10 tricycles,three sewing machines and one each of bicycle,wheel chair,and set of crutches to the persons with disabilities on Sunday.

A team of ten doctors examined over 100 physically challenged persons and gave free medicine.

On the occasion,15 rail travel concessional passes were also presented to physically challenged persons.

Gurdip Singh Deep,president,Cheshire Homes,said that in Chandigarh there are nearly 10,000 physically challenged persons.

“We are trying to help them by providing shelter and helping them develop special skills so that they can become employable,” he said.
