The chief of Brahma Kumaris,Rajyogini Dadi Janki, stressed the need for a character change among the general population to eradicate corruption. The Lokpal Bill cannot end corruption. We cannot force people to change. There has to be realisation and the change needs to come from within. She was addressing a gathering in Chandigarh on Sunday, after holding several discourses in Himachal Pradesh
She said that she did not join Anna Hazare or Ramdev for their protests against corruption even though she was invited. Corruption cannot end in this manner. We are living in dark times. There is a need for people to realise that they should change, she said.
Dadi Janki said that people need to imbibe ‘patience, peace and love. Start your morning with these thoughts. Do not get angry and be satisfied. Do good deeds so that people start following you. Vibrations of good deeds go everywhere, she said.
The mind should be kept away from unproductive thoughts. Happiness comes from within. When you do good deeds you are happy. With happiness health and wealth increases. she added.
