Led by some superb bowling performances from Adarsh (4 for 39),Raman Bishnoi (3 for 48),Yogesh Aggarwal (3 for 39) in the second innings,Chandigarh inflicted 5-run defeat on Ropar in a match played during U-16 cricket tournament for ML Markan Trophy. Needing 141 runs for an outright win and despite having eight wickets in hand,Ropar were bundled out for 136 runs in 86.3 overs. With this triumph,Chandigarh garnered six points. Playing in the second innings,Chandigarh bowlers staged an impressive comeback and snatched a victory.
