The Central Forensic Science Laboratorys (CFSL) report of the cellphone of the prime accused in the teachers recruitment scam,DPI Schools Samwartak Singh,is likely to be received by the police on Wednesday.
The result of the report will establish the alleged role of Singh in the scam.
The report will be instrumental in bringing out the connections of the DPI with the prime accused Jolly, the police said.
We are likely to receive the CFSL report on Wednesday, which will clarify the links between Samwartak and Jolly,if any, said Superintendent of Police Madhur Verma.
The investigation report of the UT police over Samwartaks involvement in the case is still awaited a fortnight after the DPI replied to the questionnaire of the police. The CFSL report will speed up police action in the case.
Jolly and another accused Hardev were arrested earlier this month.
The accused had allegedly demanded Rs 4.5 lakh from Kamalpreet Kaur,a candidate who applied for the post of teacher.
