The nephew of the man who was robbed of his vehicle on Sunday night was allegedly burnt alive a year ago. Though a case was registered,the case fell flat owing to lack of evidence.
Vinays nephew was allegedly kidnapped and burnt alive near Sector 16,Chandigarh,in 2011.
Vinay claims that his nephew,Gaurav or Montu,had written a letter,which was found near his body,saying that he was apprehending threat to his life because of his in-laws. The police had reportedly gathered evidence but nobody has been convicted to date.
