BSP starts preparing for Lok Sabha polls

The city unit of Bahujan Samaj Party on Sunday started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections by organising a public meeting in Sector 35.

The city unit of Bahujan Samaj Party on Sunday started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections by organising a public meeting in Sector 35.

Narendra Kashyap,bahujan Samaj Party general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP said that the party would win from the city in the elections.

Kashyap further said that the political scenario is in such a state in the country today that there can be general elections any time after May this year in th ecountry.

Kashyap further said that neither the BJP nor the Congress are going to make government now. He said that the BSP will come as a very important political party after the elections.

Co-ordinator of city unit of BSP Hafiz Anwar ul Haq said that till now only the Congress and the BJP have won the Chandigarh seat and that is why they have taken it for granted. There is only shallow development of the city done,for which they come back to beg to vote.

This time Chandigarh is going to vote for change,Hafiz said.

Hafiz further said that Pawan Bansal,the Union Minister for Railways has done nothing for Chandigarh. He has just made promises and nothing substantial has been done for Chandigarh,Hafiz added.
