BSP promises houses for needy,lawyers’ chambers

BSP candidate Harmohan Dhawan today addressed a series of public meetings at various places in the city on Wednesday.

Addressing a gathering organised by the Small Vegetable Seller Welfare Association at Subzi Mandi in Sector 26,he claimed that nothing had been done for the welfare of the market.

Dhawan further assured members of the association that needy people will get a two-bedroom house under the Garib Awas Yojna,which is being implemented in Uttar Pradesh. The market committee also weighed him against laddoos and ensured full support to him.

Addressing advocates at the District Court Bar Association,Dhawan assured legal experts that he will get chambers allotted to the advocates in the newly-built court complex in Sector 43 on installments and ensure that they also get ownership rights.

Dhawan also announced the establishment of Chandigarh Human Rights Commission if he came to power. Dhawan later addressed a large gathering in Kishangarh village where he gave a patient hearing to the grievances of the residents.
