Nahan: Leaders of the Trinamool Congress,which has no base in the state,have begun to woo sidelined or neglected leaders of the Congress and BJP in Sirmour District to bring them into their partys fold. Amit Kumar,leader of the TCP,spoke to many ex-MLAs in the district but received a tepid response. Kumar said that in order to establish a base for the party in the state,the TCP will contest all 68 assembly seats in Himachal this time.
Bodies of 8 missing persons found
Nahan: Of the nine missing members of a marriage party near Paonta Sahib who were swept away by the river on July 7 last year,three were found in the Kamanauli rivulet in Haryana on Tuesday. One other was located on Monday and three others on Sunday. Sirmour ASP Sanjiv Lakhanpal said that only one missing person remains to be found.
Kalam to visit Shimla on July 14

Support price of apple,mango raised
Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today announced that the state government will provide a support price of Rs 6 per kg for apple and mango in the current season. There will be an increase of 75 paise per kg in both fruits.
