CHANDIGARH: Rail traffic is likely to face major disruption on April 3,in as many as eight states,as Bharatiya Janta Party-Kisan Morcha gave a call of mass-agitation against the Union governments anti-farmer policies on Friday. National President of the Morcha,OP Dhankar said that 50 locations have been identified where railway tracks will blocked by farmers.
Rs 21.07 cr grant released to aided schools in Haryana
HARYANA: The Haryana Government has released more than Rs 21.07 crore as grant-in-aid to non-government aided schools in the state. The states Education Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that the grant-in-aid had been released for the payment of fourth installment of salary,gratuity and second installment of arrears of pay revision on implementation of revised pay scales.

CHANDIGARH: In order to save electricity,the Haryana government has decided to set up a first of its kind project of Occupancy Sensors – the Magic Eye – which will help the government save more than 1.14 lakh units of electricity every year in New Haryana Civil Secretariat. The demonstration project to be initiated in a government building would help the state government in annual saving of Rs 5.72 lakh.
