Bansal elected new president of advocates’ body at AFT

The elections were held at the AFT, where members of the Bar elected Abhimanyu Sharma as vice-president and Ganesh Sharma as Secretary.

Advocate Vibhor Bansal has been elected as the president of the Chandigarh Bar Association at Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT), Chandigarh Bench, on Thursday. Advocate Vibhor Bansal has replaced Advocate S K Sharma.

The elections were held at the AFT, where members of the Bar elected Abhimanyu Sharma as vice-president and Ganesh Sharma as Secretary.

Talking to Newsline Vibhor Bansal said, “First thing on my agenda is to set up a new library at the Bar room where all advocates can access important books.”

He added, “Apart from this, my focus will be on maintaining co-ordination between the bench and the bar and looking into day-to-day problems of lawyers at the AFT.”
