Satya Pal Jain assures rehri workers of BJP support

Chandigarh: Senior BJP leader Satya Pal Jain on Monday said that the Congress-led central government has betrayed the poor and downtrodden section of society and the working classes.

Jain said that the Congress came to power in the name of ‘Aam Admi’ (the common man) and during its nine years of rule,it is the ‘Aam Admi’ which has suffered the most.

Jain addressed a protest rally of Chandigarh Footpath and Cycle Rehri Workers Union in Sector 20. He said that the policies of the Congress government are primarily responsible for the tremendous rise in prices of essential commodities in the country.

Jain assured the workers that when the BJP will come to power, the party will ensure the issuance of identity cards to all the footpath workers and ensure work with self-respect and dignity even to the poorest of the poor in the country.

He appealed to the workers to throw the present corrupt, incompetent and anti-poor government out of power in the coming elections.
