CHANDIGARH: Unidentified persons indulged in vandalism in front of Central Mall,Industrial Area as window panes of three cars were found to be smashed and music systems inside to be stolen. About 20-25 cars were parked on the pavement opposite the mall,out of which three were reported to be vandalised between 7 and 9 on Friday night. The owners of the cars had gone to watch a movie which started at around 7 in the evening. When the owners came back,they found the window panes of their cars smashed and stereos stolen. The electrical wiring was also found to be cut so as to put off the burglar alarm.

Interviews for MSc Biotech (Hons) on July 15
CHANDIGARH: The Panjab University (PU) will conduct interviews for the admissions for Msc-I year Biotechnology (Hons) on July 15 at 10 am in the Department of Biotechnology. All the candidates who have qualified for OCET-2013,have been asked to bring all of their original certificates and testimonials at the time of interview. The Department has clarified that no separate letters will be issued.
