HIGH DRAMA was witnessed on the premises of Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Wednesday when a woman lawyer allegedly slapped advocate Arvind Moudgil, who is senior standing counsel for the UT and the Centre.

In his complaint, advocate Arvind Moudgil claimed the woman “assaulted” him and stopped him from doing his duty. He alleged that he was talking on the phone and without any provocation, she slapped him and abused him. Moudgil said, “She nursed a grudge against me as she could not make it to the UT panel.”

The woman submitted a complaint at the Sector 17 police station against Moudgil, alleging that he had been stalking her for the past seven months. She added that he had been using “abusive language” and claimed that when she entered the Chandigarh Bench Bar Room Wednesday, Moudgil pointed at her and made “derogatory comments.”
