Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik launches Startup Yatra to foster innovation among youth

To boost the startup ecosystem in Odisha and to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among youth, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched the Odisha Startup Yatra and Startup Xpress 2023 that aims to connect more than 25,000 students from over 260 institutions.

As many as 50 shortlisted ideas from Startup Yatra will be invited for a three-day acceleration programme. Thereafter, the top 25 ideas will be invited to O-Hub, the state government’s Startup incubation centre, for the demo day out of which 10 will be awarded seed funding worth Rs 3 lakh each to develop their ideas into viable startup ventures, said an official.
