The minor occupants of the vehicle were rescued from the bus by the localities by braking the window panes next to the door and opening the latch of the frame of the bus door from the inside.
All the children were taken to a nearby private hospital in Byatrayanapura as they were in a state of shock, while some had sustained minor injuries on their hands and leg.
