Bengaluru, Karnataka Highlights Today (August 11): Three men who hacked BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru to death in the Bellare village of the Dakshina Kannada have been arrested, police said Thursday. The trio has been identified as Shihab (33), Riyaz (27) and Basheer (25) and were arrested from near the Kerala-Karnataka border, according to the police.

Meanwhile, three people, including two women from the same family were killed in two separate rain-related incidents in the district in the last 24 hours, police said on Wednesday. The two women were inside their house when it collapsed after a tree fell on it triggered by heavy rains on Tuesday night at Thagalur village in Mudigere Taluk.
