Embassy REIT to fund Rs 100 crore for construction of Bengaluru Metro’s Kadubeesanahalli station
The Outer Ring Road metro line, of which the station will be a part, is expected to enhance connectivity between key commercial hubs, office parks and residential areas in the IT corridor of Bengaluru.

(Express File) Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited and Embassy Office Parks REIT have signed a Definitive Agreement for the construction of the Kadubeesanahalli metro station on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) line, which is part of Phase-2A of the metro project.
Vikas Telecom Private Limited, a subsidiary of Embassy REIT, will fund the construction with an investment of Rs 100 crore. In return, BMRCL has granted Embassy REIT naming rights for the station, along with advertisement, commercial space, and direct connectivity for 30 years. The station will be named Embassy TechVillage Kadubeesanahalli Metro Station.

M Maheshwar Rao, Managing Director, BMRCL, expressed satisfaction with the collaboration. “We are extremely happy that Embassy REIT has come forward to support sustainable urban development and transport. The ORR corridor is a crucial mobility route, and partnerships like these help accelerate infrastructure growth,” he said.

The ORR metro corridor is expected to enhance connectivity between key commercial hubs, office parks, and residential areas in the IT corridor of Bengaluru, significantly improving the city’s urban transport infrastructure.
