(Express)A 52-year-old tollway staffer was killed and two others were injured on Bengaluru’s Electronics City elevated road after a speeding pickup van hit them when they towed another vehicle late on Saturday.
The incident took place around 11.30 pm, when the deceased, Manjunath P, and the two others were on the flyover. “Rajanna, Satish and Manjunath, all staffers of the tollway, received a call that a vehicle had broken down on the flyover,” a police officer said.
As Rajanna and Satish were busy towing the vehicle, Manjunath was handling traffic. A speeding Mahindra Bolero pickup truck hit Rajanna and Manjunath.
