Youth stabbed to death outside builder’s home

A Group of miscreants reportedly stabbed a youth from the Kapadvanj area of Kheda district outside the residence of Nawab Builders on Monday night.

A Group of miscreants reportedly stabbed a youth from the Kapadvanj area of Kheda district outside the residence of Nawab Builders on Monday night.

The victim,Sadiq Chauhan (23) an auto rickshaw driver,was left outside his house in Kapadvanj and later died of multiple stab wounds today morning,said the police.

The Danilimda police have identified the main accused as one Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh alias Kaniyo on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim’s father,Sikandar Chauhan,who spoke to the victim at the hospital. The co-accused have been identified as Mohammad Gulmohammad Shama,Kadar,Asif Ali,and Irfan,who is believed to be an associate of Mushtaq. The accused are on the run.

The police said the accused reportedly first abducted Sadiq in a Qualis MUV on Monday afternoon. They held him captive in an under-construction house near Nawab ni Chali before releasing him at night. They later called him back to the same spot and questioned him why he accepted money from a person to kill them? Mushtaq reportedly alleged that Sadiq had taken money to kill him,the police said.

Later the accused reportedly took Sadiq in an auto rickshaw and stabbed him several times outside the bungalow of Baba Khan,a builder of Nawab Builders Ltd,in the Shah Alam area. The accused then took Sadiq to Kapadvanj and abandoned him outside his house in Islampura Society,the police added.

The police said the name of a prominent builder from Shah Alam has surfaced in the murder.

Mushtaq is a local gangster and was earlier arrested in several cases of abduction and loot in Ahmedabad.

The police have registered a case of abduction and murder under various sections of the IPC and begun investigations to trace the accused.
