The purported conversation between Narendra Modis close aide Amit Shah and IPS officer G L Singhal appears to suggest that the Gujarat Polices alleged illegal surveillance extended to times when the woman was at home with her family. The womans father,Pranlal Soni, has said that he had orally requested the Gujarat chief minister to ensure that she does not face any problem, especially because she was required to frequently commute during odd hours. Excerpts from the purported conversations released by news portals Cobrapost and Gulail. The portals said they had no means to independently verify these charges.
