Two IPS officers from the state have been selected for Presidents police medal for distinguished services (PPDS) while 24 other police officers,including five IPS officers,have been selected for Presidents police medal for meritorious work (PPMS).
Vadodara Police Commissioner Satish Sharma and Joint Commissioner of Police in Ahmedabad Sanjay Srivastava have been selected for PPDS.
The officers who have been selected for PPMS are: CID (crime) IG Anil Pratham,DIG (law & order) Raju Bhargava,DIG (Vadodara) S S Trivedi,DIG (CID) R J Savani and Additional Commissioner of Poice (Vadodara) D R Patel.
