She was attacked by a cow and thrown to the ground. (Representational/File) A day after a 90-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a cattle attack, she died on Monday.
The incident was reported in the Padra town of Vadodara district.
She died Monday morning at her home after receiving treatment at the SSG Hospital in Vadodara.
The attack took place at 11 am Sunday when the woman, identified as Dhuli Chunilal Rana, was returning from a temple near her house in Ranavas. She was attacked by a cow and thrown to the ground.
She sustained injuries on her head, face, nose, and limbs. She was rushed to the Public Health Centre in Padra for initial treatment and later brought to the SSG Hospital. She was discharged in the evening. The Padra police station has registered a case of accidental death. The civic body, however, is yet to initiate action against the owner of the cattle.
In many parts of the state, cattle attacks continue to raise serious concerns.
