Controversial builder Sanjiv alias Sanju Bharambe organised many late-night parties at his sprawling river-view resort and farmhouse at Jasdan village in Vadodaras Padra taluka,police said in a chargesheet filed against him in a local court on Thursday.
Bharambe is under arrest for allegedly forging land documents to grab over two acres of agricultural and government land upon which he built the farmhouse and resort. Its current value is over Rs 5 crore. Bharambes late-night parties at the farm house first came to light when an FIR was filed against him on January 1,2009,for playing loud music during an overnight new-year party. The then Padra police inspector,K J Soni filed an FIR after the villagers complained.
The copy of the FIR is among many documents in the 1,400-page chargesheet against Bharambe and his three accomplices. He had faced conviction in the case and was fined by the judge, Vadodara (rural) DSP and investigating office in the case,Usha Rada,said.
