Body of a textile labourer was found in a dyeing unit of the Gulshan factory at Pandesara on Thursday.
The police suspect that some internal dispute between the labourers might have resulted in the murder.
The police said,Ramkaran Lodhi (21),a resident of the Vadod village in Pandesara,was found dead beneath several grey bales,on Friday morning.
Pandesara Inspector K M Gohil said: We are interrogating the workers who were in the night shift in the dyeing unit in the Gulshan factory. Some dispute between the textile workers might have led to the incident. The deceased was severely beaten up and was later strangulated.

There were several injury marks on the body and face,and also strangulation marks across the neck.
They said the body was first spotted by a labourer who was picking up the bales for dyeing.
He immediately informed factory manager Suresh Chopra,who rushed to the spot and later informed the police.
The Pandesara police visited the spot and took charge of the body. They later sent it to the New Civil Hospital for a postmortem.
