Surendranagar Congress worker beaten to death

According to the police,Savshi Zanpadia and Bhudar Zanpadia were on their way to Khintia on a motorcycle to attend a party meeting for the upcoming Assembly by-elections. The duo was first hit by a chakkdo rickshaw,in which six of the accused were travelling.

When the two fell,five accused,identified as Jetha Rabari,Pola Haja,Deva Haja,Maga Bhima and Varshi Deva,along with six others,attacked them with pipes and sticks. After the accused fled the scene,the duo called the 108 ambulance service,which took them to the Surendranagar Civil Hospital.

While Savshi died soon after he was admitted,Bhudar is undergoing treatment,the police said.
