AT LEAST one tourist from Gujarat was killed and three others injured in the terror attack in Kashmir valley’s Pahalgam Tuesday.

Top sources in the state Home Department also confirmed that three persons from Bhavnagar sustained injuries in Tuesday’s attack. They have been identified as Yatish Parmar, Smit Parmar and Vinod Sabhi — all residents of Bhavnagar district. They have been admitted to a hospital in Anantnag, the sources added.

Condemning the attack, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, in a post on X, said: “The cowardly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is highly condemnable. I pray to God for the peace of the souls of those who lost their lives in this attack and for the speedy recovery of the injured. Today, the entire country stands united against terrorism. Any attempt to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir will not succeed”.
