Stretch of Western Riverfront Road to be closed for BAPS event

A stretch of the western Riverfront Road between Vadaj crematorium and Ambedkar bridge will remain closed on December 7 from 12 noon till a BAPS programme at the Event Centre is over.

A notification by Ahmedabad Commissioner of Police on Thursday said this stretch of road will be closed as BAPS will be commemorating 75 years of Bhramaswarup Pramukh Swami becoming head of the religious order.

Alternate route
From the crematorium, vehicles can take the cut to Vadaj circle and from there to Usmanpura and Income tax overbridge to Bata showroom towards townhall and Anjali crossroads.
