SSC results to be out on June 4; HSC on May 28

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has declared the dates of announcement of the SSC and HSC results.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has declared the dates of announcement of the SSC and HSC results.

The SSC results will be declared on June 4 and the HSC (all streams) on May 28.

Earlier on Monday,the GSHSEB had said it will start the paper checking exercise by March 25. But it had given no indication of the dates of announcement of the results.

Board Chairman Hasmukh Adhia said: We have a purpose for taking this decision well in advance because a lot of parents were inquiring about the same. Generally,parents and students remain in the dark till the last moment. Hence,we took this decision today so that the students do not remain under tension for the results. They can plan their vacations well in advance and also plan their admissions accordingly.
