Spotlight on Gujarat govt’s 12th Chintan Shibir

Giving details of the Chintan Shibir, spokesperson of the state government and senior minister Jitu Vaghani said all participants of the Shibir will travel in a train and do brainstorming on various subjects.

The 12th Chintan Shibir of the Gujarat government will be held at Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram of Dhrampur in Valsad and 241 persons – including all ministers and top state officials – are expected to participate in it.

A presentation on Chintan Shibir’s theme of Samuhik Chintan thi Samuhik Vikas Taraf (Towards Collective Development through Collective Introspection) was on Tuesday held in the meeting of state cabinet ministers headed by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Giving details of the Chintan Shibir, spokesperson of the state government and senior minister Jitu Vaghani said all participants of the Shibir will travel in a train and do brainstorming on various subjects.

The subjects of the Shibir include nutrition and public health, increase in service sector and diversity, capacity building for developed Gujarat, public safety, green energy and environment.
The Shibir will be inaugurated on November 27 and include various discussion sessions and speeches from experts on various subjects.
The tradition of having Chintan Shibir was started by the then CM Narendra Modi (2003) with an object of making the state administration more people-centric and effective.
